The Police Will Secure Papua in December By Decisive Action

Jayapura City Police Resort (Polresta) Jayapura will call the Executive Director of the ULMWP (United Liberation Movement for West Papua), MH related to his call in the media which invites all Papuans to commemorate December 1, which is claimed to be the birth day of the declaration of West Papua's political manifesto or better known as Anniversary of the Free Papua Movement (OPM)
    .
Besides MH, the police will also summon RW, which is a KNPB frontman (West Papua National Committee)
    .
Jayapura Police Chief, AKBP Gustav Urbinas asserted, both of them will be called in for clarification regarding the December 1 action plan in Jayapura City
    .
"This RW is known to contact Philip (a man whose name is written in a leaflet on the invitation to the December 1 celebration) to become the head of the committee at the upcoming December 1 worship. While MH we will call related statements in the Media for action on 1 December," explained Kapolresta Gustav, Thursday (11/28).
    .
Previously, the police had secured a young man, Philip Robaha (22) whose name was listed as chairman of the committee for the celebration of the worship service on 1 December in a leaflet distributed to the public.
    .
Before the police, Philip denied involvement in the call to action
    .
"I do not know anything about the invitation leaflet in my name and my signature for the action. I do not know at all, and I stress it is open to me," he said.
    .
The Jayapura police chief stressed that he would not make room for anyone who wanted to celebrate December 1 in the jurisdiction of Jayapura City, even though the celebration was packaged in the form of worship.
    .
"If there is an action that is considered as an activity to commemorate December 1, we will take decisive action by dissolving it ,," said the Police Chief
    .
He also hopes that people will not be easily provoked by an invitation to commemorate December 1
    .
"I hope that people do not have to believe in the leaflets. If you want to worship, please go to their respective places of worship as December 1 falls on Sunday, without having to take actions that are considered to be contradictory," he pleaded.
