Youth from Papua Become Delegation in AYIMUN 2019.

The Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) is an International Conference Simulation held in selected countries. This conference presented Youths from all over the world who were interested in discussing international issues and seeking joint resolutions, held in Putrajaya, Malaysia on August 25-28, 2019. This activity was attended by more than 1,500 participants from dozens of countries in the world.

Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih who is very concerned with the development of youth character in Papua directly provides accommodation support to young people from Papua, Kodam XVII / Cendrawasih See Steve Mara as a youth figure who has the potential to become a leader in Indonesia in the future.

In this International Conference in Malaysia, Steve Mara made a position paper which focused on Education as the main key of developing countries to improve their resilience to young people.

At the conference, Steve had the opportunity twice to speak in front of the forum in the General Speaker List and once in a motion about the root of the problem in each country and Steve delivered about the Development of Information and Technocracy for Youth resilience.

"I personally thank the Government of Indonesia, especially to Kodam XVII / Cendrawasih who has supported accommodation during activities in Malaysia, I hope Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih can also continue to develop character for the Youth of Papua to become leaders in Indonesia, especially in Indonesia the eastern part, "he said.

Because the hope of the nation is now in the hands of its youth. Youth is not only the backbone but youth is the breath of the future of the country. Let's bury deep in narrow solidarity with regionalism, tribalism or small groups divided. Let's strengthen National Solidarity as the young generation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in an inseparable unity.
