Burning down Hospitals and Schools, OPM and its Members Are Abominable Monsters

The things that the OPM Armed Criminal Group is doing really make no human sense. They brutally burned down the Hospital and School in Tembagapura. Besides that their actions are like sadistic monsters. They slaughtered civilians in surrender and were bound by cold blood. Their actions are no different from ISIS.

The armed group of the West Papua National Liberation Army, the Free Papua Organization, claimed responsibility for burning schools and hospitals in Kampung Banti, around the PT Freeport mining area in Tembagapura, Timika, Papua a few days ago. In fact, OPM threatened to continue launching attacks on facilities and interests of Indonesia.

KODAP III TPN OPM Head of Freeport Coffee Coffee Regional Command (KASDAP), Hengki Wanmang, said the burning of schools and hospitals was because the facilities were in the interests of Indonesia.

"We are responsible, we are burning schools and hospitals," said Hengki through an electronic message Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He continued, it would continue to launch attacks on Indonesian-owned facilities. "We will continue to attack," he said.

The burning of hospitals and school buildings was considered as a form of rejection of the presence of the Indonesian military in Banti, as well as village government activities or official activities of the Indonesian government system in the Tembagapura region of Papua.

Hengki also considered that the hospital was like a workshop, because instead of healing it even more sick and died so it was not suitable for the people of Papua, not only in Banti but almost all of Papua would be the same.

OPM Spokesperson, Sebby Sambom who also acts as a TPNPB Diplomat abroad, said all Indonesian activities in Papua must be stopped. "Any buildings belonging to the Indonesian government service must be destroyed, indeed those that have been regulated in the TPNPB war principle, that is called a war for liberation in the form of war in the rules of international war, so the opponents until Papua is independent", he said.
