The Papuan mama market in Kamur Village, Kasuari Beach District, Asmat Regency, Papua Province has been inaugurated by Asmat Regent Elisa Kambu.

Asmat Regent Elisa Kambu said that the local government presented the market to spur the economy of local residents. Especially the Asmat mothers who are in the agricultural business and selling natural products.

"We have built this market to support the business that these women have been involved in in the Pantai Kasuari District. In addition to encouraging these efforts, local governments also provide infrastructure, "Elisa said.

He hoped that the traders in Kasuari Beach would be more motivated after the government built the market. It is also hoped that traders can maintain and maintain the facility.

"The market already exists, so mothers must be even more enthusiastic about planting vegetables, sweet potatoes, bananas and fruits. Likewise with those who sell fish, meat and other natural products, "said Elisa.

Elisa added that the local government continued to equalize education, health, economic and infrastructure development throughout Asmat. Therefore he hopes that the community will provide support and participate in the development activities.
